   Squad Criteria 

Swimmers aged 9 and above who demonstrate proficiency in some strokes, ensuring safety and competence.

Swimmers must commit to weekly training sessions, with potential for increased sessions.

Essential desire for continuous improvement in skills, fitness, and stamina.Interest in participating in swimming competitions.

Aims:

The squad aims to foster skill development, fitness, and stamina while cultivating a competitive spirit and readiness for swimming competitions. Our focus is on providing a supportive and encouraging environment for all squad members.

Technique:

We emphasise proper stroke technique and efficiency in swimming.

Training Ethos:

Promote a positive attitude towards learning and teamwork. Encourage the application of feedback for improvement.

Racing Abilities:

Prepare swimmers for competitive events, including club-hosted Swimming Galas. Support progression to other squads based on performance and potential.

Ethos:

Cultivate a culture of mutual support, respect, and camaraderie among squad members while upholding the values of dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship within the Swimming Club.

Discipline:

We expect squad members to uphold discipline both in and out of the pool, respecting teammates, coaches, and club rules.
