Squad Criteria
Age 11 and upwards
- Total commitment to training
- Will be selected by Head Coach on :-
- Attitude
- Discipline
- Long term potential
- Gala Performance
- Attitude
- Swimmers must be within 5% of their respective National Qualifying Time
- Athlete Fast Track will be at the discretion of the Head Coach, supported by the recommendation of Squad Coach
- Must train the minimum amount of sessions as directed by Head Coach and as set down in the Swimmer/Coach/Parent/Trustee agreement
- Monday & Saturday morning sessions are compulsory sessions
- Must keep an up to date log book, to be handed in every Saturday
- Only to compete in swim meets selected by Head Coach
- A mentorship role to be played by senior swimmers in the squad to the younger swimmers of the squad and through the Club
Aims
- Top Level domestic success.
- To place swimmers in finals at National Championships.
- Develop the disciplined, practical & Psychological skills necessary to train & perform at this level.
- Each swimmers progress, attendance, commitment and discipline to be reviewed periodically and every if necessary squad changes will be made by the Head Coach.

Announcements
Annual Awards Night
The presentation evening will take place on Sunday 12th February 2012. It will be at Dene Park Sport and Social Club, Beverley Road Dunswell.
Tickets will be on sale soon priced £3.50 each, doors open 5.30 - 10.00pm.
Buffet, bar, raffle and disco to finish the evening so bring your dancing shoes.
We would hope that all our members can attend as it is the night of the year when we applaud all of our swimmers for their efforts over the past year.

New Menu Added
We have now added a "Medication" page to the "Swimmer Information" menu to help explain the potential hazards of taking medication whilst competing.
Please have a look as even the most innocuous medication could be on the banned list.
